They are a popular party activity because they are fun, interactive, and give guests a shimmering keepsake. Specific glitter types, adhesive materials, and application methods may vary by provider.

The artist applies a cosmetic adhesive to the skin in the shape of the chosen design, then dusts fine glitter over the adhesive. Excess glitter is brushed away, leaving a sparkling temporary tattoo. The process is quick, painless, and fun to watch. Specific techniques and materials may vary by provider.
